Install ESXi and VCenter Server 7
1. Prepare
- DC1 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn) | DC10 : Domain Member
- Softwares : ESXi 7 ISO file(VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0-15843807.x86_64.ISO), VCenter Server 7 ISO file(VMware-VCSA-all-7.0.0-15952498.ISO)
2. Step by step : Install ESXi and VCenter Server 7
- Create a new virtual machine using VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0-15843807.x86_64.ISO === ESXi Server
+ Set IP 10.0.0.150, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway 10.0.0.254
- DC10 : Installing VCenter Server
+ Open browser - - Log on use root account - Storage - New datastore - Name : DISK01 - Next to Finish
+ Installing VCenter Server using VMware-VCSA-all-7.0.0-15952498.ISO
+ Mount VCenter Server 7 ISO file to D: - Go to D:\vcsa-ui-installer\win32 - Double-Click installer.exe - Choose Install :
+ 2. End user license agreement - Tick ' I accept the terms of the license agreement.'
+ 3. vCenter Server depoyment target - ESXi host or vCenter Server name : 10.0.0.150 - Entries User name and password
+ 4. Set up vCenter Server VM - VM name : vESXi01 - Entries password and confirm
+ 5. Select deployment size - (you want)
+ 7. Configure network settings - IP : 10.0.0.151, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway 10.0.0.254 - Finish
+ Continue - 3. SSO configuration - Choose 'Create a new SSO domain' - Single Sign-On domain name : vsphere.local - Entries password and confirm
+ Open browser - - Launch vSphere Client (HTML5) - Logon use vsphere.local\Administrator :
+ Right-Click 10.0.0.151 - New Datacenter... - Right-Click Datacenter - Add Host... :
+ 1 Name and location - Host name or IP address: 10.0.0.150
+ 2 Connection settings - User name : root and password - Finish
