A Peshawar High Court (PHC) bench of Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth and Justice Mussarat Hilali declared as unconstitutional the functioning of scores of internment centres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after merger of the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (Pata) into the province. But latter a three-judge apex court bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khosa, stayed the PHC’s October 18 order and that case was not fixed during remaining tenure of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa , Justice Gulzar Ahmed , Justice Umar Atta Bandial and Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
