Duplicating Objects in Blender vs. Creating Linked Objects ?
Using SHIFT+D in Blender duplicates objects but using ALT+D creates a linked object. Linked objects share object data which saves memory, render times and allows you to change multiple objects at once. I'll also show you how to unlink objects in Blender using the "make single user" function and how to link unlinked objects.
I'm using Blender 2.92 in this one minute blender tutorial for beginners. Subscribe for more blender tips!
