Add Grunge to PBR Materials With an Image
Here's a Blender shading tutorial for how to add grunge onto any material using an image. We can use almost any image and mix darker parts (or lighter parts) onto the base material using a Mix Node. We will also cover how to have the image texture affect the roughness of the underlying material so we can make the grunge appear wet or less reflective. We will also learn how to use a second UV map to control the grunge independently of the base material. With one image texture we can add infinite combinations of grunge to our materials in Blender.
