Microsoft Phone System: Use Microsoft Teams App or Desk Phone?
I want to challenge your thinking of how to use a business phone system.
If you MUST use a traditional desk phone setup because that has been the way things have been for over 100 years, OK, but it isn't how I do it. I started my professional career in 1996 and used a headset from day one because my boss was using one and I thought it was a GREAT idea. So, when Xerillion moved to the Microsoft phone system and used the Microsoft Teams desktop app to connect to the Microsoft phone system - it was a very easy transition to go from connecting my headset into a desk phone, to connecting my headset directly into my computer.
In this video, I take you through the thought process of deciding if you want to use the Microsoft Teams desktop app with a headset, or a desk phone with the Microsoft phone system. I show you how I work with the Microsoft phone system, as well as some of the different desk phone models you can use with the Microsoft phone system.
I also describe a scenario where you integrate the Microsoft phone system into your company simply using the Microsoft Teams mobile app on your smart phone.
