Superhot Mind Control Delete is a standalone follow-up to fantastic FPS puzzler, Superhot. It's not exactly Superhot 2, but it is free to owners of the original game. Which is nice. Colm explains all to Matthew in this Superhot Mind Control Delete review!

This Superhot Mind Control Delete gameplay does look similar to the original, but there's no question that Superhot MCD is slightly lacking the punch the first one had. It's still more Superhot - and that's great - but Colm felt the new features, like the hacks and the more varied enemies, would be better served in a more linear game, rather than a strange roguelite structure.
With that said, as this Superhot Mind Control Delete review shows, Colm was really happy with the new enemies. Well.. most of the new enemies. The Superhot Dog is a bad dog and deserves no biscuits. Pushing the game's Mr. X-style pursuers to one side for the moment, the other Superhot Mind Control Delete enemies are terrific. The all red bad guys, the concrete bad guys, the mushroom Hellraiser bad guys: with only a few minor tweaks, developer Superhot Team has created loads of memorable baddies to shoot in slow motion. All with very memorable names.
If you don't own the original Superhot, Superhot Mind Control Delete will cost you £20 / $25 on Steam. However, if you do own the original, you can treat this is as free Superhot DLC. Superhot Mind Control Delete release date is July 16th and the game will be automatically added to your library (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) if you purchased Superhot before Superhot MCD's launch. If you want to learn more about how to turn Superhot 2 (more or less) into a free Superhot expansion, just head to the FAQ page on the official website. Taking it on its merits, Superhot Mind Control Delete doesn't land as well as Superhot, but if you look at this as some free Superhot DLC, then jump in and fire that fish gun to your heart's content.
