Learn how to change the administrator email address in WordPress fast.
Changing admin email address in WordPress consists of a few steps. There are two administrator email addresses in WordPress. The first is the email address linked to the WordPress site, and the second is the email address linked to the admin username. You don’t need to change both of these, but I recommend having the same email address for both.
To start, log in to WordPress. From the WordPress dashboard, find the settings tab in the left-side menu and click general. You'll now be on the WordPress general settings page. You'll see the administrative email address with the email address being used for the admin. Replace the email that is there with the email you want to use for the new admin email address in WordPress. Scroll down to the bottom and click the save changes button. You'll now get an email where you want to click the link to confirm the admin email change. Once you do that, your admin email address in WordPress has been updated successfully.
To change the admin email address in WordPress linked to your username, find the users tab in the left-side menu. Click it. You'll see the email address you can change to the email address you want for the admin username. Scroll down to the bottom and click the update profile button. You'll now get an email to confirm the admin email username change. Click the link in the email, and you've successfully changed the admin email address in WordPress for your username.
