How To Add Google Maps In WordPress 2024 - (FAST & Easy!)
Learn how to add Google Maps to your WordPress website step by step. Adding and embedding Google Maps in WordPress is a quick and easy process.
Let's get started. To start, go to Google Maps. In the search Google maps field. Type in the address you want to add to Google Maps in WordPress. You’ll see the Share button here. Click this. Next, you’ll see Embed a Map. Click this. If you click on Medium from the dropdown you can select the size of the map to add to your WordPress site.
If you click Custom Size, you can add a custom size for the map. I’ll select Medium. You’ll see the code here. Click Copy HTML. Next, go to the WordPress dashboard. Click Posts or Pages in the left-side menu depending on where you want to add the Google Maps to. I’ll select Pages. Go to the page you want to add the Google Maps to. Click edit underneath. I’ll add the Google maps to the contact page. I’ll click edit. We are now brought to the contact page.
Go to where you want to add the Google Maps to. Click the plus icon. You can also click the plus icon here at the top. I’ll click the plus icon here. Next, type in HTML. Select Custom HTML. Paste in the code we copied from the Google Maps page. Click the save button. Next, click the View Page icon to bring up the View of the Page.
Scroll down to where we added the Google Map and you’ll see the Google Map is now showing in your WordPress website.
