Cirrhosis: Impaired Liver Function- Nursing

Cirrhosis is the inflammation and fibrosis of tissue within the liver that leads to damaging scar tissue formation that causes obstruction of hepatic blood flow, impeding overall liver function. This is a chronic and irreversible condition. Cirrhosis can be a confusing topic and tends to affect the entire body, so this video will provide an overview, pathophysiology and key points of impaired liver function.
