In this, the eighth video in my (not so) mini series on Linux essentials, I take a look at how you can easily retrieve files from remote serves using the Linux CLI, super easily and quickly.

I showcase using the wget and curl utilities how to download files from HTTP and FTP services, as well as how to retrieve data from APIs with various options. I also show how to incorporate two of the main forms of authentication - basic auth, and public-private key. Hopefully by the end of this video, you'll be able to retrieve files and use APIs with ease at the CLI.
