Prevent copy and paste via remote desktop in Windows Server 2022

1. Prepare

DC21 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn) | DC22 : Domain Member | WIN111 : Client

2. Step by step : Prevent copy and paste via remote desktop from WIN111 to DC22

DC22 : Enable remote desktop, turn off Firewall local

WIN111 : Remote desktop to DC22 and copy files

Create folders named F1, F2, F3, F4 - Copy the folder via remote desktop to WIN111 == OK

DC21 : Prevent copy and paste via remote desktop to Servers belong 'Servers' OU using Group Policy

Server manager - Tools - Active Directory Users and Computers - Yi.vn - Check 'Servers' OU

Server manager - Tools - Group Policy Management - Right-Click 'Servers' - Create a GPO in this domain, and Link it here...

Name : Prevent copy via remote desktop - Right-click 'Prevent copy via remote desktop' - Edit... - - Computer Configuration - Policies

Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Remote Desktop Services - Remote Desktop Session Host - Device and Resource Redirection

Do not allow Clipboard redirection : Enable - OK

Right-Click Start - Run - cmd - Gpupdate /force

DC22 : Update policy

Start - Run - cmd - Gpupdate /force --- Restart

WIN111 : Update policy and check again

Start - cmd - Gpupdate /force - Sign Out - Sign in

Remote desktop to DC22 - Copy the folder via remote desktop to WIN101 == Can not copy to DC22 via remote desktop
