Speaker Bios
Samapriya Roy is a solutions Architect at Planet as well as affiliate Faculty at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a designated Campus Colleague at the University of Arizona. He believes data, tools, and platforms can benefit from each other if built around community and commons. As a Google Developer Expert he continues his work on the GEE community catalog and tools , enablements and conversations surrounding accessibility to analysis.
Dr. Emil Cherrington is a research scientist with the University of Alabama in Huntsville's Earth System Science Center, and in that position, he supports the SERVIR program of NASA and USAID. He possesses almost 18 years of experience working in Earth science and geospatial science. He is a Google Developer Expert (GDE) for Google Earth Engine for 2022-2023.
