Anna Ioannovna proclaimed Lefortovo Park her main Moscow residence and invited Bartolomeo Rastrelli to build a royal palace and reorganize the park in the manner of Versailles Park. The palaces in the park were built of wood and fires did not allow us to admire their beauty at the present time.
