How to screenshot on Windows
There are several ways to take screenshots on Windows. Here are the most common methods:
1. Use the Print Screen (PrtScn) Key
Entire Screen: Press PrtScn to capture the entire screen. The image will be copied to your clipboard, and you can paste it (using Ctrl + V) into a program like Paint or Word.
Active Window Only: Press Alt + PrtScn to capture only the active window. This also copies the image to your clipboard.
2. Windows + Shift + S for Snip & Sketch
Press Windows + Shift + S to open the Snip & Sketch tool.
You’ll see options for Rectangular Snip, Freeform Snip, Window Snip, and Full-Screen Snip.
The screenshot is copied to your clipboard and also appears as a notification. You can click the notification to annotate or save the screenshot.
3. Windows Key + PrtScn for Auto-Saving
