How to manually restart your router
The easiest way to restart your router is by using the power button on the device. The restart button is usually found on the back of your router.

To manually restart your router, you should press the power button to power your router down. Once your router has been powered off for 30 seconds, press the power button again to turn it back on.

If you can’t find the power button on your router (or it doesn’t have one), you can restart your router by disconnecting its power cord. After waiting for 30 seconds, plug the power cord back into your router and it will restart.

How to restart your router from its settings page
If you want to restart your router from its settings page, you first need to know how to access your router’s settings.

If you’re not sure how to access your router’s settings, check out the video I previously made to help you out:    • How to Access Your Router's Settings ...

After successfully accessing your router’s settings page, it should be pretty easy to restart your router. In my router’s settings, there is an icon to restart to my router in the upper right-hand corner of the settings home page. When the “Reboot” icon is selected, your router will go through its restart process.

It’s important to note that depending upon the make and model of your router, you may have to follow slightly different steps to restart your router from its settings page.
