Hace tiempo os traje al canal la revisión de una tarjeta gráfica pasiva Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD4850 (1GB RAM, conector PCIe):

En ese video os comenté que esta gráfica no tiene soporte para Windows 10 ni 11 de manera oficial y que únicamente podíamos instalar los drivers disponibles en Windows Update, firmados digitalmente por Microsoft. Algunos usuarios me comentásteis (con razón) que es posible instalar los drivers de Windows 7 o Windows 8 en sistemas mas modernos como Windows 10 o Windows 11, mediante el instalador de AMD o simplemente instalando estos mismos drivers manualmente.
En este video vamos a ver un ejemplo de cómo podemos instalar una tarjeta gráfica en un sistema operativo para el que, en principio, no está soportado. Comprobaremos también el rendimiento de los diferentes drivers (Windows Update y AMD) con el juego Crysis, tanto en modo Directx9 como en modo DirectX10.

In that video I told you that this graphics card does not officially have support for Windows 10 or 11 and that we could only install the drivers available in Windows Update, digitally signed by Microsoft. Some users told me (with reason) that it is possible to install Windows 7 or Windows 8 drivers on more modern systems such as Windows 10 or Windows 11, using the AMD installer or simply installing these same drivers manually.
