Cómo usar una disquetera o unidad floppy por USB en MS-DOS 6.22. Drivers e instalación.

En este video vamos a aprender a instalar y usar una disquetera o unidad floppy por puerto USB en MS-DOS 6.22 nativo. Para ello, utilizaremos los drivers USBASPI.SYS y DI1000DD.SYS (los mismos que se usan también para instalar memorias USB).
Necesitaremos:
Una unidad floppy USB (yo siempre recomiendo unidades de marca conocida).
Modificar CONFIG.SYS, añadiendo las siguientes filas:
DEVICE=C:\USBASPI.SYS /v /norst
DEVICE=C:\DI1000DD.SYS
Descargar los archivos: USBASPI.SYS y DI1000DD.SYS y colocarlos en la raiz de nuestro disco (C:\). Podéis descargarlos en:

NOTA 1: Debéis introducir la unidad floppy antes de arrancar el sistema operativo, ya que no funcionará si lo hacéis después.
NOTA 2: El comando DOS=HIGH de MS-DOS puede interferir en el acceso a los dispositivos, impidiendo su detección o bloqueando el PC. Si lo tenéis y véis que tenéis problemas, eliminadlo.

NOTE 2: The MS-DOS DOS=HIGH command can interfere with access to devices, preventing them from being detected or locking up the PC. If you have it and see that you have problems, eliminate it.
