As of 2024, controls 25% share in the ecommerce market of South Korea which is the 5th largest ecommerce market in the world. In 2021, Coupang IPO got listed in the New York stock exchange and Coupang was valued at $109 Billion. There was a 68% drop in Coupang's shares price. But Bom Kim current stake in Coupang still makes him a Billionaire with a net worth of $2.6 Billion.
