The EQs that come built into Logic Pro X are frankly fantastic. The channel EQ is an indispensable tool for quick boosts and cuts, the linear phase EQ is awesome to have when the occasion calls for it, and the Vintage EQ Collection has something for everyone.
I wanted to see if these Vintage EQs stood up to their paid counterparts over the Waves plugins offering.
One thing is for sure, there are some big differences! Whether these make the Logic stock EQs better or worse is up to you to decide, but it certain made for some interesting listening.
