Wanted to try something different 😅😕🙋🏼♀️
For some reason, the YouTube algorithm started recommending this channel to me, and I watched a bunch of his videos. He makes a few "based" arguments pointing out how overly woke culture is hurting the public dialog and says he stands for less polarization and extreme opinions.

The more I looked into his older videos though, the more I was stunned by just how harsh some of his reactions are. I found this one quite generalizing, but there are also others that, in my opinion are at least motivated by some underlying misogyny. I don't like calling people misogynists, and I don't think he is one, but meaning well doesn't make it okay to hate on women for basic stuff like sleeping around or not wanting to be a SAHM.
I find his channel quite intriguing though, because whenever he's not a little bit too mad at "slutty ladies"
Some claims I disagree with are:
(1) One parent needs to stay at home if you have kids (absolutely not, you can share that and it's fine) and modern feminism destroys families (that's put very simple, but it's the vibe I get). Why I am not at all for 4th wave feminism, absolutely not my crowd, we don't need to bash everything we fought for. This YouTuber is criticizing the concept of single mom households all the time. Yet a father that is always working, makes a mom basically a single mom. Kids need both parents, but that also means that they should spend the same time with those kids. In that way, working part-time is actually the better choice, but because it's rarely ever available to parents, nobody really talks about that concept of actually both parents PARENTING. Why not? That would be the fair thing. Instead this ball is just passed back to the women. Great, 50 years of progress, down the drain. I don't think that's it and I think that in general, we should just demand more parent-friendly working models as an improvement, instead of opting for "one parent works, one does kids and house" options like int the 50s.
(2) Women who had a lot of guys are not girlfriend / marriage material (even if it was an indicator of being kinda toxic or not well, why should we assume people can't change? How does it matter what a woman (or man!) lived like 10 years ago - because she had x boyfriends, she can't be a good mom - that's nuts)
(3) Public healthcare / state funded system isn't doable in the US because of medication being so expensive and the medical system being out of control... uhm, and why is that? Because it's all private, non-controlled and you let it become that way by having every little bit of that system be taken over by private companies. Look no further but Europe. It's not perfect, but we manage way better than the US. Paying 17% of my income to that, I happily do so, and by the way, American healthcare is often way more expensive.
Message to "Think Before You Sleep"
These are just some of the topics I watched on his channel. I am actually thinking about making a video on the healthcare system, but it is so much research.... anyway, if you're watching this and you're the creator, please look into my points of view. I am not debating anything above, I merely want you to think about this. You say you are against extremism, yet you chose to be moderate only where you personally like it and it doesn't cost you energy to empathize and put yourself in the other party's shoes. You should do that though to make your own world view complete. I watched a lot of your content, at least all of the videos that came after the one I am talking about here. So I do think you mean well. I just don't think you have gotten to the bottom of all aspects of these social issues you're contemplating. Especially the healthcare thing just screams ignorance. You seem to talk a lot about your system in the US and the problems within, which have not been solved, only gotten worse over the last decades, so obviously it is not working. Our healthcare system on the other hand was in the red around the year 2009, and made it out successfully, still working. We do need reforms and a more fair system, but nobody said it was perfect. However, I would be afraid for my life, if I had an injury in America. I would not feel safe to go to a hospital there, your health care and healthcare system strikes me as third-world-like, as in unreliable, not affordable, uncontrolled, dangerous.
