PIC microcontroller based Smoke detector and fire alarm system

PIC18F4550 microcontroller is used in smoke detection and fire alarm system. MQ series gas sensor is used as a smoke sensor. Internal ADC of PIC18F4550 is used to read analog output from smoke sensor. PIC18F microcontroller detects if the sensor output is above a threshold level. PIC controller turns on the buzzer and relay once smoke is detected.
