This is a recording of my solo metal base being eaten by a corrupted wyvern and my attempt to kite him away and fight him.
After this battle with the wyvern I decided to temporarily retire from solo small tribes on the extinction map. Griefing with corrupted dinos is too easy, and leaves no real options for base defense short of turrets, be that in the form of auto, plant-x or dino. As a solo player on small tribes, I don't think that keeping and maintaining turrets of any kind is a realistic goal on the extinction map (without diplomacy, which I don't want to engage in) as tribes with 6 players will easily outstrip your ability to farm and crush you, and if you don't have turrets corrupted dinos will destroy your base. Solo griefing is still possible with small 1x1 style bases plopped around the map, but it is not a style of play that I want to engage in at this time. I have returned to dedicating my time to non small tribes, though still on the extinction map. I may return to small tribes as part of a 6 man crew at a later date if I feel so inclined.
