Samsung SLS-BU103 4G Network Extender unboxing and setup for Verizon Wireless service
Today I am unboxing and setting up the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE Network Extender model # SLS-BU103. The unit only boosts the 4G signal so it will not improve signal for older 3G phone or some phones like iPhone 5, 5S or 5C which will see a improvement for the data portion but not the voice portion. Your phone has to be VoLTE (Advanced Calling) ready to be able to fully utilize the 4G Extender. First make sure your phones have Advanced Calling turned on in the settings. Then you can plug up everything and then make sure to plug in the power last. Also the initial setup can take up to 60 minutes but normally is about 20. When going thru the setup you can press the little button on the front of the display to see the status. If setup, then you can dial #48 on your cell phone. In the video I gave the 3 different recordings to look out for. This will only boost the signal for Verizon smartphones and will not improve any signal for other carriers phones. You have to pick up a strong GPS signal. If you have a issue locking on to GPS satellite, you can use the GPS extension cable for your module. If you use the extension cable, then make sure the letters GPS are facing up. Also there can be no tape or anything on the top of the module. If you are further north, then you can get a better GPS signal by having the GPS module by a South or Southwest facing window. It can be your account or someone else's account but as long as its active.
