[HOW TO] Boss Katana Amp Factory Reset - works for guitar and bass Katana amps
Quick video to show you how the procedure for a "factory reset"
Please take note:
Doing a factory reset will delete all the settings saved in your memory slots.
Save them first! Check out my video on how to create a liveset with Boss Tone Studio if you don't know how to backup your memory slots.

Also, take note that a factory reset won't bring back an old firmware version, if you have the latest one installed, it will remain in your amp system. So no worries there.
Factory reset procedure:
Set the POWER CONTROL knob to STANDBY.
Press & hold the PANEL button and turn the power on.
The BOOSTER/MOD, DELAY/FX, and REVERB indicators start to blink while the factory reset is being processed.
Release your finger.
It can take up to approximately 20 seconds to complete the factory reset.
When the PANEL indicator flashes, the procedure has been successfully completed.
Now it's time to ROCK!
