Winter, especially during blizzard conditions, is a formidable obstacle for railroads, with heavy, blinding snow. In this video, we'll see a number of different trains fighting through blizzards, bitter cold, and busting snow drifts along the line!
Starting off, we'll see the Canadian National working its way west in North Oaks on a bitterly cold morning. Heavy snow the night before, and fresh street plows, coated the tracks with snow. This caused the train to make a HUGE wake of snow in its path! After this, we'll see a CP Transfer, J42, screaming up hill in a white out conditions as it heads towards Humboldt Yard. Following this, we'll see trains kicking up even more snow, and busting snow drifts. There are some neat views with the drone, and even some nice, flocked out snow scenes! Lots to enjoy and see!
