Part 3 of my tutorial which shows yo uhow to make your own custom static meshes and import them into UDK. In this video we UVW map our game mesh in 3ds Max and get ready to add the projection modifier to bake the normals from the high poly version to our game mesh.

Notes: I was going to UVW map my model in UVlayout, but I had problems importing it so I use 3ds Max.

I only UVW mapped my game mesh for time's sake. You should really UVW map your LODs too. You could try to make the UVW map as close to the game mesh (or LOD level 0) as possible as this would mean you wouldn't have to make multiple textures.
