For security reasons, Android now defaults to "Charge only" mode when you connect your phone to a computer with a USB cable. But if you use your phone like a flash drive, it gets old having to tap the notification, then pick file transfer mode in the menu.

Thankfully, if you enable the hidden Developer Options menu in Android's Settings, you can choose the default mode for your phone's USB connection and make it show up in Explorer or Finder right away.
