Apple added a gesture in iOS 13 that lets you tap and pan using two fingers, selecting multiple emails as you slide down the list. That still works in iOS 14 and iOS 15, but there’s a faster way to bulk-select emails in Mail on your iPhone.
First, you can go into Edit mode in a mailbox or search, select an email with one finger and slide up or down just a bit to act like you’re going to select more, then use another finger to swipe up or down on the screen. Even better, once the scroll bar appears, drag that to go super fast.
Second, you can do the same thing using the scroll bar, but instead of scrolling it down with your finger, you can use another finger to flick the screen up or down to where you need it.
Note that the two-finger pan does not work with quick scroll.
