Outlier detection with python part 1 univariate
In this video we look at outlier detection with python looking at filtering univariate outliers from columns.
We do this by first building box plots, then using df.query to filter the outlier columns from the total dataset. Once we have the offending columns for review we can then choose whether to filter them from our dataset.
Finally, we look at automating outlier detection with python by creating an outlier function to use identify rows from all columns in the dataset which meet our outlier criteria.
