My Postpartum Routine to Help Heal Stitches After a Vaginal Birth !
Moms,this was one of the best things that helped me manage and heal my episiotomy stitches after the birth.
✅We were advised to start Sitz bath in the hospital itself but the basin they gave in the hospital was not as comfortable as this one I got on amazon. You can actually pack this in your hospital bag if you want.
✅ This not only cleanses the perineal area but the sitz bath’s warm water increases blood flow to the perineal area. This can promote faster healing.
✅ A sitz bath can also be used in pregnancy and postpartum to reduce discomfort from haemorrhoids.
✅Use this couple of times a day.
✅One quick tip to help your stitches is to not sit for a long time in a chair, this can make your that area feel sore(it happened for me).
So Try rolling a thick towel into a donut shape and sit on it you will so much feel better, believe me.
✅Also if you feel there is a lot of discomfort talk to your doctor,she will give you medication.
✅Please make sure to clean this tub throughly after use.
