Mutton leg soup/Aattukaal/ Paaya soup has been a regular not only through my Prepregnancy, pregnancy, postpartum but now during my breastfeeding period also.You can add this with idly or rice and give a 6 months plus baby too.
Here is a very simple recipe followed by my mother in law to make this mutton leg soup.
In pre conception

Wash the 300 gms mutton legs with hot water.
Grind very coarsely 1 tsp zeera+ 1 tsp pepper+ 3 garlic pods + 10 small onions it few curry leaves

In a cooker had add 4 cups of water + muttton legs + ground mixture + salt to taste od 4 whistles in the cooker before going to bed so that the cooker stays off on the stove unopened overnight.

Morning as soon as you get up,
stir in high flame and give another 3 whistles The soup isWe generally have this soup in the morning at home. Add salt and pepper to your taste before serving.
