I show you how I build a diy water filter using BioChar aka activated carbon, and a 3 gallon jug. Although I have every confidence that this will make water safe to drink, boiling water is always safest! With that said, I've been building and using water filters very similar to this over the last year and I've never gotten sick from the water that's come out of my filters. Although I have the constitution of an ox, so there's that!
