Making a DIY Wild Lettuce Tincture - Ann's Tiny Life
I've become really interested in learning about natural or herbal medicines that can be made from things that you either grow yourself or are already growing in the wild. Today I make a wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) tincture. Through extensive research I've learned that this plant is not only edible, but can be used to help with pain, anxiety, and insomnia - all of which I suffer from.
I eat wild lettuce as a salad green as well as cook it like spinach and put it in various dishes. It's tasty! I've noticed since I've started using it I tend to feel calmer and get better sleep. Bonus!
