Market data allows you to see live data in your trading platform. Without it, you might be seeing data that is delayed by 15 minutes or more and no data may be available when the market is closed. This lag can be detrimental, especially for certain trading strategies.

My current setup for all options trading, commodities, and futures costs me $42.50 per month. By trimming unnecessary services (like Canadian options/companies), I could reduce this to $26.50. This setup allows me to avoid juggling multiple apps and switching back and forth, making my trading more efficient and effective.
