Studio 101 Architects revitalised a 1960s Mid-Century Modern home with a poorly designed 90s extension. Retaining the mid-century design's principles of simplicity, form and materials, they added a fourth bedroom, ensuite, and storage to the existing footprint while demolishing the outdated extension in place of a contemporary open-plan kitchen, living and dining area. The design respects the home's heritage while catering to modern family needs.
