Consequences emerged, imprisoning me with debt, strained relationships, and emotional distress. Over time, I realized that true freedom lies in the ability to make wise, disciplined choices. By acknowledging and addressing personal pain and past mistakes, freedom came from unshackling myself from within instead of seeking it externally. And by choosing what's good for me, I am not only helping myself but also becoming a more useful member of society.
