Unturned is a game that was recently released on steam as early access. It began with Steam Greenlight buy it managed to get passed that phase. It combines the ideas of both Minecraft and Dayz. You are in an open world where you must defend against zombies by using crafting.
The crafting aspect in the game is great, it just has a somewhat high learning curve. That's really the enjoyment though because it's not too easy. You can craft wood into houses, clothes in cloth and much more. The graphics aren't great but this game is a prime example of why graphics don't matter. The concept is great.
