I spent 8 months applying to jobs out of college. This is how I dealt with the stress and anxiety of job applications.

Background on me:

I went to Rutgers University and studied Computer Science. I mainly applied to Software Engineering Jobs. It turned out job applications had a lot of unintended consequences. To help save people from the stress and anxiety, I share some tips in this video about how to stay healthy during the job and internship search.

Although there are some funny remarks, this video touches on some very personal lessons that I learned while applying to jobs. The same goes for internships. I found that applying to jobs (for me) led to the development of a lot of toxic traits and habits.

It brought up a lot of shame, stress, and anxiety - all of which I'm sure are intertwined. At the end of the day it's a lot of work and pressure to apply to jobs, we are not entitled to get a job. There's no secret tips or advice, it's simply hard work. All I can give to you is tips on how to deal with the side effects of job applications. Some of these tips include eating healthy, mindfulness, avoid multitasking, therapy, etc...
