A piece about a Carousel :-)
Naomi Ceder recently composed this wonderful piece, using some of the principles she learnt from my Composing Bootcamp. It also combines some Latin American inspiration by using a 3 against 2 rhythm, which creates a gentle groovy feel.
Naomi chose the key of G Major, which was described in the 19th century as: "Favorite key of youth, expresses sincerity of faith, quiet love, calm meditation, simple grace, pastoral life and a certain humor and brightness."
