In this video, we will revert the UniFi UAP-LR running OpenWRT back to stock firmware. The tutorial can be applied for all UniFi Access Points, such as the UniFi AP, UniFi AC and UniFi AC Lite.
The process is very easy: you just need to turn the device into TFTP mode, download the stock firmware from Ubiquity website and use a TFTP client to send the firmware to the AP. Of course, you will need to adopt the UniFi AP with your UniFi controller, but this is something you should already known if you are using UniFi devices.
If you are using a Legacy UniFi access point (End of Life), such as the UAP-LR, the LED pattern for TFTP mode is Flashing Amber-Green-Off. However, in non-legacy devices (supported devices), such as the UniFi AP AC LITE, the LED pattern will be Flashing White-Blue-Off.
