Before disabling any Windows services you should have a good knowledge of which services are doing what. Because by disabling some important Windows services your PC can be down. Let’s see the steps to disable Windows services and speed up your PC.

1. Type services.msc in the windows search bar at the bottom left.
2. Click on the Services App to open it.
3. For demo purposes, in the Services window, scroll down the Windows Update services and double-click on it.
4. In the General tab, click on the drop-down of Startup type.
5. Select the Disabled option, click on the Apply button and then click on the OK button.
6. Scroll up, and double-click on the File History Service to open it.
7. In the General tab, click on the drop-down of Startup type.
8. Select the Disabled option, click on the Apply button and then click on the OK button.
9. Close the Services Window.
