In 2022 I published my first ever book. I always say it’s the story of a boy and a family navigating a misunderstood diagnosis. And it’s about finding joy. Truly. And even thought this autism life can be confusing and hard for our son and family…there is joy. There is love and hope and possibility.
Well, in March of 2024, the paperback version of my book will be released. And in it is a bonus chapter that will bring folks up to date with our family today.
We moved again. Had another baby. Cooper started middle school. Our second son Sawyer is stepping into the confusing and often emotional role of a special needs sibling. And I’ve made it my mission to help other caregivers so no one ever feels as alone as I did in the beginning.
