When my oldest son Cooper began asking to take the Amtrak train I honestly didn’t know if it would be possible. There felt like a lot of barriers. See, a diagnosis of autism changes this a bit. I often say it makes the small things feel big. But we practiced. And we prepared. And we did it! Watching my oldest son Cooper experience his dream was the best feeling ever.
