KXstudio audio mixer for WebRTC ( ubuntu 14.04 )
This video demonstrates KXstudio's CARLA(git version) JACK AUDIO CONNECTION BAY's abilities of mixing many audio inputs and audio outputs, also using audio lv2 plugins, vst plugins(even windows vst's), ladspa plugins, etc...on a WebRTC call using SOURCE CONNECT NOW.
KXstudio's CADENCE is another "secret weapon" for mixing audio for a WebRTC call. With both the ALSA to JACK bridge and the PULSEAUDIO to JACK bridge running at the same time, you are able to start WebRTC with the ALSA to JACK bridge and then add the PULSEAUDIO to JACK bridge so you can send to your WebRTC participants your own browser based audio that does not have native jack support. The CADENCE ALSA to JACK bridge remains the exclusive audio system for this WebRTC setup. Any native jack audio apps will also easily connect to your WebRTC mixing setup.
NOTE: using both KXstudio's ALSA to JACK bridge and PULSEAUDIO to JACK BRIDGE, allows sending browser or media player audio from your desktop to the other WebRTC participants. Since the WebRTC chrome browser is using the default ALSA SOUNDCARD, which in this case is the CADENCE alsa-jack bridge, all browser and media player audio that defaults to alsa or pulseaudio, would only be heard by you...you can't send that audio or the incoming WebRTC AUDIO will go straight back out and cause a horrible feedback loop. Using the PULSLEAUDIO to JACK BRIDGE solves this issue, since after starting the PULSEAUDIO to JACK BRIDGE, any browser audio or media player audio will now default to pulseaudio and the PULSEAUDIO to JACK bridge will have its own connection pins inside the CARLA JACK AUDIO CONNECTION BAY so you can route it perfectly to prevent feedback.
