Must Try Japan Festival Food - Asakusa
Hi guys!
Japan has so many festivals throughout the year so hopefully you'll have the chance to experience one! One of my favourite things is definitely the FOOD! Of course duh!
This time Josh and I are at Sensoji Temple at Asakusa where everyone is celebrating Coming of Age Day.
Coming of Age Day is a public holiday in Japan held annually on the second Monday of January. It is held in order to congratulate and encourage all those who have already reached the age of maturity between April 2 of the previous year and April 1 of the current year, and to help them realise that they have become adults!
But let's be real; we here for the food.
I know there is an overwhelming amount of food at these festivals so here's a quick guide on my favourite ones!
