I was really getting in my own head about the cold weather coming, and how that was going to be an obstacle to dunking (along with the fact that Covid has prevented all recreational sports from running this winter). This session was refreshing, and showed me that there's still plenty I can do even when the ball isn't bouncing as high for lob attempts. I recently also made the connection that I need to be pushing harder into my penultimate step on my single leg jumps, which broke a year long plateau and resulted in getting a few decent dunks off my previously sprained left ankle. So much of that is mental. This winter I intend to keep dunking outside, off vert if it's too slippery for an approach, on a super low rim if need be. I just need to keep jumping and not overthink it.
