How to Create a Location on Instagram
Sharing location on an Instagram post or story can help your audience to find the place that you have visited. If you want to increase the discoverability of your business then sharing your business location on Instagram can help you. Let’s see the steps to create a location on Instagram.
1. Open your Instagram app.
2. Tap on the plus button icon at the top right.
3. Tap on the Story at the bottom menu.
4. Tap on the Gallery button, to choose an image from your mobile.
5. Like here, I picked this photo to post as a story on my Instagram account.
6. Tap on the sticker icon at the top menu list.
7. Tap on the Location button to select it.
8. Search your location in the Instagram location search bar.
9. Tap on your location name from the search result to select it.
10. Replace the Location button on your post.
11. Tap on the Next button at the bottom right.
12. You can select any radio button of your choice to select your audience.
13. I have selected the radio button of Close friends.
14. Now, select your close friends from your friends' list, and tap on the Done button.
15. Tap on the Share button at the bottom.
16. Tap on the Done button again.
17. This will share your story with your shared location link.
