If you have a document and you want just one page to be in landscape, you can’t just go to the Layout tab and then change the Orientation to Landscape because it changes the orientation of the entire document, which is not what we want. However, it is possible to change just one page in a document, and this video shows you how to separate portrait and landscape in the same word document.
Put the cursor where you want the landscape page to start… then, still on the Layout tab, click on the arrow next to the Breaks option. This brings up a list, and under Section Breaks, choose Next Page.
This gets us a new page, right where we want it.
Now, we go to where we want the landscape pages to end, and we do the same thing. Essentially, the document is now in three so-called “sections,” and what we do is just change the orientation in the middle section.
That is, making sure the cursor is in the section, we choose Orientation and then Landscape.
