µTorrent is a free, ad-supported, closed source BitTorrent client owned and developed by BitTorrent, Inc.
Install μTorrent in Ubuntu / Fedora. μTorrent is a freeware and a closed source BitTorrent Client. One of the most used lightweight BitTorrent Client, Now it is available for Linux as μTorrent Server. You can download the tar file from utorrent.com.

Double-Click on Archive and Extract uTorrent into /tmp

Or from Command Line:

tar xvzf utserver.tar.gz -C /tmp/
Open Terminal Window
Ctr+Alt+T
(Press “Enter” to Execute Commands)

Extract uTorrent Web GUI

cd /tmp/utorrent* && unzip ./webui.zip
Relocate uTorrent

sudo su
If Got “User is Not in Sudoers file” then Look: Solution

chown -R root:root /tmp/utorrent*
mv /tmp/utorrent* /opt/utorrent
Installing/Updating OpenSSL

apt-get install openssl
Starting uTorrent Server

exit
cd /opt/utorrent && sudo ./utserver
