How to Make Your Facebook Profile Private 2016
In this tutorial you will learn how to set your facebook profile to private.
To set your Facebook profile to private select the home arrow at the top right of the screen.
Select privacy settings.
If you want friends to see your profile select Friends. Now your profile is private to everyone except your current friends.
If you want things visible ONLY to you, select custom. From the drop down menu select only me. Then save changes.
In Time line and tagging select edit settings.
Under who can post on your timeline select no one from the drop down and save changes.
For who can see what other post on your timeline select custom.
Then from the drop down select only me and save changes.
For who can see posts you've been tagged in select custom. Then from the drop down select only me and save changes.
For who can see post you've been tagged in, Select Custom.
Then from the drop down, select "Only Me" and save changes
Then click on done.
If you choose to limit the audience for past posts click on manage past post visibility. Then click on limit old posts.
Confirm you want to limit old posts. Now your Facebook profile is completely private to only you.
